Who we are

TruePlayers is an innovative indie studio building big experiences on mobile. From a split PC and mobile background, we fuse genres together to form new ones for a wide range of audiences. Our award winning first title is already in early access and we are now ready to expand the team with an experienced Unity Programmer.

 

Founded in 2021, we’ve already secured investment from some of the biggest names in the industry, launched our first title into early access and expanded the team to five. Who we’d like to meet

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of unity development, as well as the more technically challenging aspects that come with development for mobile. We’d like to meet candidates who are excited to design and build robust systems used on our current and future titles. 

 

What you’ll be doing

You will be developing systems and game elements that require backend support as well as working on the optimization/performance and longevity of our studios games. You will be using Unity and 3rd party systems to deliver a smooth experience to the player. You will be responsible for the 3rd party integrations, modular systems in our titles and be striving for constant improvement in function and performance.

Your skills

Your Skills & Experience

  • At least 3 years professional Unity 3D experience with significant involvement in at least 1 shipped title.

  • In-depth knowledge of different software development methods such as Test Driven Development, Unit Testing, Agile etc.

  • Able to communicate and report on complex technical issues at all levels, great at sharing knowledge.

  • Strong C# programming skills, with a wide knowledge of object oriented design, common data patterns and structures including backend systems

  • Deep understanding of software performance considerations, with ability to design and implement well-performing systems/features/SDK’s, optimise memory and storage and use profiling tools in editor and on device.
